My name is Thom. I live in beautiful Boise, Idaho. I am a self-proclaimed gadget guy, and work in the Telecommunications Consulting industry. I have lots of free time on my hands, and do a great deal of playing with technology. This page is where I will make public my outings for hikes, areas for friends / family, and personal views on gadgets I have picked up.
You will most likely see a recurring theme in my posts – so often my outings involve my other passion – Motorcycling on my 2007 Ninja 250r.

hi thom…i have lived in council idaho for 25 yrs…on sat. aug 9th i drove up to hitt mt. for the very first time and was very impressed with the area. i tried to find a way up to the sturgill lookout but i didn’t have any maps with me. i thought i would google the info, so here i am, i found your site..thanks for the beautiful photos and video..i am sixty yrs old and i can’t tackle too much of a climb..but i am excited about getting to the top…if you have any futher info please email me…thanks again…you gotta love idaho..!
