Manns Creek, Sturgill Peak Hike
Click link above for the map file. Approach will be from the South. Heading North on Hwy 95, go approximately 8.5 miles and turn left onto Upper Mann Creek Road. Continue North following the creek for approximately 13 miles until you reach the old Spring Creek Campground. The hike begins here.
Mores Mountain Loop
Click on the above for the map file. Approach will be from Boise, Harrison Blvd Northbound, pass Hill Road. Harrison becomes Bogus Basin Road. Continue along Bogus Basin road to the top where the ski resort is. You will pass the first massive parking lot (Simplot Lodge) and continue to the upper lodge (Pioneer). Park in the lot near the lodge. The hike begins here.
Bogus Basin Contour Special
Click on the above for the map file. Approach will be from Boise, Harrison Blvd Northbound, pass Hill Road. Harrison becomes Bogus Basin Road. Continue along Bogus Basin road to the top where the ski resort is. Park in the lower lot near the lodge. The hike begins here.
Pilot Peak Hike
Click on the above for the map file. Approach will be from Boise, heading east on Hwy 21 toward Idaho City. Go past Idaho city another 13-14 miles to Mores Creek Summit. There will be a parking area with vault toilets to your right. The hike starts here.
Pettit Lake to Alice Lake
Click on the above link for the map file. Approach will be from Boise. Heading East on Hwy 21 toward Idaho City. Go North past Lowman and Stanley. Head roughly 20 miles South until you see the signs for Pettit Lake. Turn Right and continue approximately 3 miles to the Trail Head. The hike starts here. Sign in before hiking, it’s required.
